Effective September 1, 2021 Swydo will be moving to a new “usage based” model with monthly billing only, and will discontinue the tiered pricing plan structure.
WHAT IS CHANGING?
Switch From Client Based Model To Usage Based Model
Pricing will no longer be based upon the number of clients and users you have, but rather on the number of data sources in your account.
The new entry plan starts with a flat fee of $39/month, which includes 10 data sources and an unlimited number of clients and users. And all accounts will have access to all Swydo platform features like custom domains and custom metrics.
Additional Savings Available For High Volume Usage
Here’s a summary of the new plan, along with fees for additional data sources:
First 10 data sources - included in initial basic $39 monthly fee
11-100 data sources - $3 per data source
101-500 data sources - $2 per data source
501+ data sources - $1.50 per data source
What Are Data Sources?
A data source is the unique connection between a third party platform and your clients individual Swydo reports/dashboards. For example, let’s say you have 10 clients, and for each of them you provide reporting on both Google Ads and Facebook Ads accounts.
10 clients x 2 data sources for each client = 20 total data sources
It is important to note that the number of times you pull data from a data source does not calculate into your fee. The frequency of your reporting does not impact your monthly cost.
So for instance, if you run daily reports for a particular client, you only pay once a month for that data source. And if you use a unique data source in different reports - let’s say one for a client, one for internal monitoring purposes - it is still only one charge.
How Do I Know How Many Data Sources I Have?
Account owners and administrators can obtain an overview of active data sources in your Swydo account by clicking on the “Upgrade & Payment” section by clicking on the team profile image on the top right when logged in. In addition to displaying the active number of data sources, you’ll also see an expected monthly cost based upon those data sources.
How Do I Calculate My Monthly Cost?
So in the example above, the first 10 unique data sources will be covered in the flat fee, and then the $3 per data source would be charged for the remaining 10 data sources. Which works out to:
$39/month for 10 data sources + (10 more data sources @ $3/data source) =
$69 monthly charge
Here’s another example for a customer who has as many as 150 data sources. Your fee will break down as follows:
Number of data sources needed
Price per data source
Basic monthly fee
11 - 100
101 - 500
Managing Costs By Archiving Inactive Clients And/Or Remove Data Sources
We strongly suggest you make sure your account is set up properly, and archive or remove all inactive clients or data sources. You’ll also want to remove any data sources from example reports. This will help you manage costs and ensure that you will only be invoiced as per our fair and actual usage policy.
