Swydo Report Comments

This feature brings conversation directly into reports and dashboards, so agencies and clients can discuss performance without switching between Swydo, email, Slack, or other communication tools.

Where do I find the Comments Option?

In the top right corner of the report, you will find the "speech bubble"

How it works

  • Clients start a conversation at the report or widget level, and the report assignee gets notified via email.

  • Agencies can collaborate internally at any time. Mentioned users and the report assignee will be notified via email.

  • Agencies can reply to clients and choose whether the response is public or internal.

  • Agencies can't initiate client conversations; it's best to use text widgets for proactive outreach instead

  • Comments are attached to a report or a widget, ensuring the relevant context is never lost.

  • Threads can be resolved while keeping the conversation history

  • Formatting and emojis are supported, including bold, italic, underline, lists, and links.

Key Benefits

Keep data and conversations in one place

Don’t separate the numbers from the conversation. Discuss performance directly within the report, so everyone has access to the same data, context, and insights.

Simplify agency-client communication

Give clients a direct way to ask questions and discuss performance. Clients can comment on reports, while agencies can respond without moving the conversation to another tool.

Improve internal collaboration

Keep your team aligned on client performance. Use internal comments to ask colleagues questions, flag issues, and collaborate seamlessly without exposing internal discussions to clients.

Reduce unnecessary back-and-forth

No more explaining which chart, metric, or report you’re referring to. Comments stay connected to the report and, where relevant, to the specific widget being discussed.

Keep conversations actionable

Stay on top of what still needs attention. Resolve completed conversations while keeping the full discussion history available for future reference.

Keep everyone informed

Stay up to date with email and in-report notifications for new comments, replies, and mentions.
