Meta has deprecated a list of metrics from Instagram Insights, which means they are no longer accessible in Swydo:
Deprecated Metrics:
Email Contacts: Number of email contacts over a specified period of time.
Get Directions Clicks: Number of taps on the directions link in the IG user's profile.
Profile Views: Number of users who have viewed the IG user's profile over a specified period of time.
Text Message Clicks: Number of taps on the text message link in the IG user's profile over a specified period of time.
Website Clicks: Number of website visits over a specified period of time.
Phone Call Clicks: Number of phone call clicks over a specified period of time.
Video Views: Total number of video views. (Please note: Video Views have been replaced by Plays in your Swydo reports.)
What Happened to My Reports?
At Swydo, we proactively removed the deprecated metrics from your reports to prevent broken metrics from appearing. Please note that these removals may have caused changes to your report layouts.
❗️ We recommend reviewing any reports that used these metrics and making necessary adjustments.
Why is Meta Making These Changes?
Meta stated that these changes aim to improve metric quality and better align the functionality of the Instagram API with the Instagram app.
Please note that this change affects all third-party solutions using the Instagram Insights API, not just Swydo users.
