Invite new users
How to invite users and how to assign the right roles
If you're the owner or an admin of your Swydo team, you'll have the ability to manage users in your team. One of the capabilities is inviting new users.
If you want to invite others to also work in your team in Swydo, click on Users in the left-hand menu. Now, click on the invite new users button.
A popup with the following fields will appear:
Name: The name of the user.
Email: The email address of the user. The user will receive an invite on this email address, so make sure this is entered correctly.
Role: The permissions the user has within the company. More info on what the different roles mean can be found here.
Once you've set up these settings, click Invite user. The user will then be listed as Pending user until they click the activation link in the invitation email they receive.
Re-activate a user
How to re-active users to your team
It could be that at some point you want to give deactivated user access again, you can reactivate the user. For this type of action, the admin or owner rights are required.
First, go to Users on the left-hand menu. Find and click on the user in the deactivated user's list. There you can restore access by clicking on the Activate user button.
Change User Roles
How to change a role of a user
If you are an Admin or the owner of the Swydo Team, you have the ability to change the roles of the users. In this article, we will teach you how to change those roles.
1. First, go to Users on the left-hand menu.
2. Search for the user and click on it.
3. Click the blue Change role button.
A popup will show where you can choose which role you want to give to the user:
Revoke users or edit users' permissions
Remove users who don't access anymore
As an admin or team owner, you have the ability to remove a user from the team.
To do this go to "Settings" on the right side panel, then head to "Team Members".
Then on the three little dots, click to revoke or edit permissions:
A popup will open, asking you to confirm that you really want to revoke the user's access. If you're not sure, you can still choose to cancel here.
You can also change the level of access a user has in Swydo. These are the following:
💡 Remember, the seats in Swydo are unlimited, so you can add or remove users in the account to your liking.
Transfer the ownership of the account
How to transfer the ownership to another user
When the team needs a new owner, it is possible to transfer the ownership. The current owner is the only one who can transfer the ownership.
To transfer the ownership to another team member, go to the Settings page on the left side panel, then directly to "Team Ownership":
On this page, click on "transfer ownership" and at the dropdown to select an active user. Once you've selected someone, type Transfer.
That's all. If you need to make any other changes, you can ask the new owner to help.
